GreatDane Trades builds disciplined cryptocurrency trading software for people who want a process, not a guess. It connects to the Kraken exchange and walks a strategy through backtesting, paper trading, and live trading. The whole idea is to make the trader earn the right to risk real capital.
How AI works in the business
The platform runs walk-forward backtests across historical candle data and scores each strategy against a realistic cost model that accounts for fees, slippage, and spreads. Trades that cannot overcome those costs get rejected before they ever fire. Every decision and operator action is logged so the model can be reviewed and improved over time.
The hardware behind it
The backtesting, simulation, and live trading run on a private AI server from Texas Integrated Services. Owning the hardware outright means strategy data and trade history stay private and never leave the box. There are no monthly cloud bills eating into thin trading margins.
Where it’s growing
The roadmap adds more strategy templates, deeper position management, and a kill switch for emergency stops. As the audit logs grow, the models get sharper at telling a real edge from noise. The TIS server scales right alongside that work without a forced move to rented cloud.
