How AI works in the business
The plan is to lean on AI to keep a community running. AI can match members to nearby events, draft event write-ups and recaps, and answer common questions for newcomers. Over time it can summarize talks and surface the sessions a member is most likely to care about, cutting the busywork of running a group.
The hardware behind it
The plan is to run AI Meetup on a private AI server from Texas Integrated Services. Member lists, event data, and the AI tools would live on owned hardware, so the community's information stays private rather than sitting in a rented cloud. With no monthly cloud fees, a grassroots group can grow without a subscription bill working against it.
Where it’s growing
As a venture in development, the next step is to launch and gather an early group of members. Owning the AI hardware from the start means the platform can scale from a single city to many without re-platforming. The private server gives the project room to add events, chapters, and tools as the community takes shape.
